The Data Science Institute (est. 2019) brings together over 150 researchers working in the broad field of data science across faculties and research groups at Hasselt University. DSI's main objective is to facilitate the data-driven future. We are committed to data-related challenges, fundamental innovations and applicable solutions. DSI's research is focused on data governance, data engineering, data analytics and modelling and decision support.
Role with PROBE
The UHasselt team led by Geert Molenberghs, brings extensive expertise in the development and validation of advanced statistical methodologies for clinical trials, with a particular focus on rare disease settings. Their primary contribution is within WP4. The team mainly contributes to WP4.
