Role with PROBE
Novartis is the industry lead / project co leader of PROBE, jointly coordinating the initiative with Erasmus MC. We contribute clinical development expertise in trial design, validation strategies for novel endpoints/clinical algorithms, regulatory pathways, and internal AI/bioinformatics capabilities. We also bring secure data engineering and MLOps capability via data42 to underpin the project’s federated learning environment. Beyond leadership and data, Novartis contributes cross functional expertise (regulatory affairs, biomarkers/imaging, biostatistics, pharmacometrics, translational medicine) represented in the Novartis PROBE team.
