Description
The Norwegian Medical Products Agency (NOMA) is responsible for ensuring that people and animals have access to safe medicines and medical devices. We also facilitate research and innovation in medical products. NOMA has five strategic areas (medicinal product assessment, regulatory affairs and better use of medicines, health economics and analysis, medicines supply chain and medical devices and organizational governance and development ) and 26 units with approximately 400 employees.
Role with PROBE
NOMA brings the health technology assessment (HTA) perspective to several WPs. In line with IHI's mission we provide the perspective of those that have to translate health research and innovation into tangible benefits for patients and society.
