Description

The Dutch Arthritis Society (ReumaNL) is a patient organisation. ReumaNL represents over 2.000.000 people suffering from rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Together with patients, we advocate patients’ rights in politics and care, support self-management courses, and lobby with government, health insurance companies and other stakeholders for more understanding and better conditions for patients with arthritis. Next to patient advocacy, we aim to improve patient care in the Netherlands. As a means to achieve our mission to make arthritis a reversable condition by 2040 we fund excellent scientific research and promising public-private partnerships. We connect scientists, entrepeneurs, clinicians and patients and strive for meaningful patient participation at all levels of research.
