Description
The LUMC is a center of medical innovation, committed to improving patient care through scientific research. It trains physicians, specialized healthcare providers, and researchers to contribute to this. In addition to general patient care, the LUMC offers specialized treatments that may only be performed in a limited number of medical centres. The LUMC distinguishes itself particularly as a referral center for complex medical questions for which there are no ready-made answers. Scientists and physicians collaborate to better understand diseases and develop new treatment methods.
Role with PROBE
Leiden University Medical Centre brings their expertise in novel OA clinical trial design and Omics platforms to WP3, 4 and 5 to help leverage PROBE discoveries into clinically meaningful applications.
