Description

Helmholtz Munich develops solutions for a healthier world. Our cutting-edge research is the springboard for medical innovations. Together with our partners, we accelerate the transfer from ideas to applications, from labs to startups, from science to society.

Role with PROBE

Helmholtz Munich brings extensive experience on developing computational/AI tools to analyse deep molecular, genomics and epidemiological data to address important biomedical research challenges – especially in the field of osteoarthritis. Therefore, we will lead on the identification of predictive biomarkers and clusters of osteoarthritis patients. Specifically, we will focus on the analysis of genetic data and will also be involved in the analysis of imaging and biochemical/multi-omic data. We will then lead on the generation of multimodal models to identify clinically relevant endpoints, patient clustering, and potential surrogate outcomes. In addition, we will be leading on the development of foundational models and will contribute our extensive knowledge on federated database networks.
